Building Financial Confidence Together

We started darnakivolet because too many Australians were struggling with financial decisions that could have been much simpler. Since 2019, we've been creating practical education that actually makes sense.

How We Got Here

Every meaningful journey starts with a problem that needs solving. Ours began when we noticed how many bright, capable people were making costly financial mistakes simply because they'd never been taught the basics.

2019

The Beginning

Started as weekend workshops in community centres around Canberra. Just three of us with whiteboards, teaching budgeting basics to anyone who'd listen. Those first sessions were rough, but people kept coming back.

2021

Going Digital

Pandemic pushed us online, which turned out to be a blessing. Suddenly we could reach people across Australia. Our evening sessions became popular with shift workers and parents who couldn't attend traditional classes.

2023

Real Impact

Reached our first thousand participants. Started getting messages from people who'd paid off credit cards, bought their first homes, or simply stopped lying awake at night worrying about money. That's when we knew we were onto something.

2025

What's Next

Expanding our programs with more specialized content. Still keeping things simple and practical, but now we can help with everything from investment basics to retirement planning. Always free from sales pitches or product pushing.

Real Stories, Real Results

The Changes We're Seeing

  • Average debt reduction $8,400
  • Started emergency funds 73%
  • Improved credit scores 81%
  • First-time investors 45%

These numbers come from voluntary surveys six months after completion. Not everyone responds, and results vary significantly based on individual circumstances and commitment level.

"I spent years as a bank teller watching people make the same mistakes over and over. Now I get to help prevent those mistakes instead of just processing them."

Our Teaching Philosophy

Education, Not Sales

We don't sell financial products. We don't earn commissions. We don't have partnerships with banks or investment firms. This independence lets us give advice based purely on what's best for each person's situation, not what generates revenue for us.

Start Simple

Complex financial concepts broken down into everyday language. No jargon, no assumptions about prior knowledge.

Make It Personal

Your financial goals and challenges are unique. We help you build strategies that actually fit your life and income.

Action Over Theory

Every session includes specific steps you can take this week. Knowledge without action doesn't change bank accounts.

Ongoing Support

Financial education doesn't end when the course does. We're here for questions, guidance, and accountability as your situation evolves.

What Drives Us

  • Honesty First: We tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. Sometimes that means having uncomfortable conversations about spending habits or unrealistic goals.
  • No Judgement: Everyone starts somewhere. We've worked with people drowning in debt and people earning six figures who still can't save. Both deserve respect and practical help.
  • Independence Matters: Our advice is never influenced by product sales, commissions, or partnerships. This independence is non-negotiable.
  • Keep Learning: Financial rules and products change constantly. We stay current so our participants get information that actually applies to today's market.

Looking Forward

Financial stress affects every part of life - relationships, health, career choices, sleep. When people gain control over their money, everything else becomes a little easier.

  • Reach 10,000 Australians by end of 2026 through expanded online and regional programs
  • Launch specialized content for specific life stages - new graduates, new parents, pre-retirees
  • Partner with libraries and community centers to bring free workshops to underserved areas
  • Develop resources in languages other than English to serve Australia's diverse communities

Ready to Take Control?

Our next comprehensive program starts in September 2025. Eight weeks of practical financial education with ongoing support from our team.
